Campaigns are interactive community projects that offer opportunities for city residents to show support and help achieve community goals by contributing points. Our first Campaign is a $50,000 Grand Rapids’ Park Makeover awarded to the park that receives the most points. Two runners-up will earn Park Spruce Up awards valued at $10,000 each.
Ways you can show support may vary with the Campaign. You may support Campaigns by contributing your points toward a community point goal. When the Campaign achieves its goal, mygrcitypoints triggers a specific community reward. You also may get involved by donating money or items (like clothing or school supplies) toward a campaign goal or by volunteering for a specific campaign.
The City of Grand Rapids, local businesses, local non-profit organizations, and foundations are all eligible to organize Campaigns. If you are interested in sponsoring a future campaign, would like to organize a campaign, or if you have future campaign ideas, please contact us.
